So many ladies out there have this experience once in a while; a left or right sided lower abdominal pain right in the middle of their cycle. Some wonder what it is, others know it is ovulation pain but don't know the reason why.

In this episode, I took a quick look into why you have ovulation pain and bounced of a friend's question in a bid to shed more light on it.

Would you like a “AskDrNick” live episode where you can call in and ask that funny question you wish you could ask your doctor but naahhh you let it pass? Indicate in the comments and I can make that happen this weekend.

Enjoy this episode.

So sorry about your pain Fiona. Often times there are other locations other than the sides, but the latter is the commonest.
Hope OTCs do the trick for you?

I donโ€™t know I can actually take an OTC for ovulation pain, I try to sit it out since it lasts for only some few minutes but since I now know, I donโ€™t have to be a super woman again.
      Thanks Dr Nick

You are welcome Juan. Always glad to know I could help. If you can be a woman and sit it out always it’s still better than swallowing pills in my opinion ๐Ÿ˜
